Mac Holley boasts a four-decade career within commercial and investment banking. His expertise lies in empowering mid-sized company owners with strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, and comprehensive exit strategies.
Prior to joining Heritage Capital in 2011, he led Florida Capital Bank, N.A. as President and CEO for the North Florida Region. He managed operations, having co-founded the bank in 2004, overseeing commercial and retail banking in the area.
Preceding this, Holley held roles such as President, Northeast Florida, and Senior VP, Middle Market Banking for Bank of America. His career at Bank of America began in 1998 after the acquisition of Barnett Banks, Inc., where he served as Executive VP and managed corporate banking in Pinellas County, FL. He also managed the bank’s U.S. Banking division, serving non-Florida headquartered companies.
Beyond his professional realm, Holley is dedicated to community service. He’s an executive board member of the Northeast Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, past president, and board member of Baptist Medical Center Beaches. He’s also served as chair of Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce’s Cornerstone and has chaired significant initiatives appointed by Jacksonville’s mayors.
Holley’s commitment extends to education, as a graduate of the University of Alabama. With a career founded on banking, leadership, and community impact, Mac Holley continues to be a driving force in the industry and beyond.
